race licence?
hi i am thinking of getting a rs 125 and tunning the nuts off of it! i had one when i was a learner and i kind of miss the 2 stroke smell and sound.
long story short...
do i need a race licence for track days?
if i got a race licence what are the perks as such?
thanks david

Re: race licence?
No need for a race license for just trackdays.
Race license perks are basically you can take part in races

Re: race licence?
Most TD organisers state you need a full unrestricted bike licence for trackdays.
As bikemonkey says, perks with ACU licence is you can race :)
Also you get 10% off some items through "Riders Motorcycles" (I think this is right, saw an email this morning from ACU but didn't read it fully)

An NC is for life, not just for Christmas!

Re: race licence?
A race licence will also allow you to go to Acu test days, these are normally held the day before the race and are a bit cheaper than a Trackday, you can also just do an afternoon or morning unlike a Trackday where you book in for the entire day!
