ideas for nc30 rear shock

Post by yayoboy »

hi all, the rear shock on my nc30 functions as it should, but the powder coating on the spring has started to flake off :(
just wondering how easy it is to remove the spring because of the remote unit, or would it be better to just save up and plump 4 a new unit? advice plz, cheers

You need to compress the spring using a set of spring compressors, you take out the collar on the bottom of the shock and can then take the spring off. The reservoir stays attached when you do this.
