Rear brake light switch
Hi,
Can someone tell me where i can get a rear brake light switch from? (NC30)
universal ones on ebay all seem to only have one locking nut where as the vfr has 2.
Im considering one of the hydraulic type? Is that a better and neater bet? If so i presume its a M10 x 1.25 pitch im after?
thanks

Re: Rear brake light switch
You've lost me there, the M10 x 1.25 pitch ones on e-Bay are all you need, that's what I've always fitted to my NC's. See the pic below, britaxcooper wrote:universal ones on ebay all seem to only have one locking nut where as the vfr has 2

Re: Rear brake light switch
the hydraulic / pressure switches are useful where there is no provision for mouting a rear-brake switch, such as on many aftermarket rear-sets.
One for the NC30 is

Re: Rear brake light switch
If you use one on std rearsets be careful about the height of the unit. I had one for the MOT but one of the prongs hit the frame and blew my main fuse!! Not cool to arrive at MOT and then when the tester wants to start the bike it dfoes not run!
