help!! fuel tap

help!! fuel tap

Hope someone can help me, I got a new fuel tap seal kit for my g76a but I have a problem with the seal in the tap, how the hell do you get the old one out it seams solid in there, I've tried levering it out with no sucsess, any help appreciated
