I've been assured it'll be ready for the Mayday run on 6th May. My fingers are crossed lol

Speak to DM about the paint as it's a friend of his dads that does it. I'm happy with what I've seen so far so he'll e doing my other two bikes as well that need doing.

That seat unit has turned out amazingly well considering the condition it was in orginally.

I know where my RB and RGV are going for painting. ;-)

Final bits back from the platers so now it's just a case of bolting it all back together. Sounds easy doesn't it lol

Right it's now being reassembled so here are some updated pics.

Engine fully serviced. Timing checked and valve clearances sorted.

Rear exhaust headers attached while the engine is out of the frame.
Image

Engine in and wiring loom in place. Nice and clean.

Image

Swingarm and Maxton shock in place. Freshly zinc'd and new bearings all round. Should bounce better than new.

With swingarm in place the hub could be rebuilt. Again all new bearings and zinc'd fixings.

Rear exhaust pipes added. I love Titanium.

Rear Subframe then added.

That's it for the moment but next update coming soon. Again though huge thanks to Tony for doing the work, without him this bike would still only exist as a very sad and sorry looking excuse of an RVF.

You are at the right place with your NC as Tony knows his stuff. Keep it coming. Should be a fresh to new bike when finished for the summer.
