Well engine has now been painted. Just need to get the bolts blasted and zinc'd now and it's good to get serviced and popped back in.

Also been buying another future project. This was my first ever bike I bought so when the chance came along to get this I jumped at it.

It's very tidy and clean. It's the right blue with the wrong graphics but that's an easy fix. It needs original front indicators which I've already got and original mirrors. The wheels need painting the right colour gold and I'll get other little things done in time. This is the last bike I'll buy for a while as I have the RVF to finish before starting the RGV and the GAG bike.

Right back on topic.

Last time Tony was down he took away my rear swing arm so he could work on it in his spare time. It wasn't in the greatest of condition and that was evident once it was stripped.

The bearings were as Tony described it "shot to shit" luckily it 's having a fresh new set put in once it's rebuilt.

Once stripped it was off to Tim's for blasting then off to get zinc'd. Then it'll be rebuilt with some new bearings and bushes and also some choice goodies.

Bodywork is still at the painters but that won't be shown until it's finally in place and the bike is shown for the first time. :sshh:

The calipers are from a 929 Fireblade and should be a direct fit.

We're not too far away from the fun part of bolting it all back together again.

That bodywork looks fantastic mate, the SEED scheme really suits the RVF bodywork, really hope to see the finished bike for real one day.

Who painted it by the way?
