Losing revs and delay

Hi there

When my NC30 is sitting idle and I rev there is a small delay it reving up and then about 5-6k revs there is another drop in power...anyone got any ideas ?

Is it cold?

It's a CV carbed bike so what are you comparing it to when you say there is a slight delay? Sounds normal.

As for the flat spot its common at that space.. putting an extra washer under the carb needles usually fixes it, have a read through the carb guide (sticky thread). You can get nice precision washers from Rick Oliver on this forum.

I have no comparison but just doesn't feel right ? Hard to explain but when pulling off and opening the throttle it seems sluggish and takes a second to kick in ?!?!

I will have a look at the guides as recommended. Thanks

Hi, maybe worth checking the mixture screws are set right. Is airfilter clean?
