washers, resistors who cares, we've potential Harris Ti full systems to discuss
Thanks for the help so far, I'll endeavour to obtain some pics of them both as I don't think there's a lot more we can do until we have these but feel free to throw info mainly regarding the full system in the ring until then

I am a nerd
with a memory like a very old elephant for stuff I have read....and I have never read or heard about any ti Harris pipes being made for the NC.
As previously mentioned the only ti work I recall are the TSR SP1 style pipes like Rhory, vfrman, micpec? and the single can style that Craig/Guess Who has/had!
Would like to see some pics. Which bit is he more sure of anyways - the Ti factor or the Harris factor?
Harris were not really into pipework were they? More like specialist welders and fabricators.

Re: Anyone ever heard of a Harris Ti full system for an NC30?
Thanks for all the suggestions but it appears my mate was a little hasty in his assumption of it being a full Ti system as it attracts magnets and has the usual discolouration/surface rust found on stainless systems although the can does look like a proper Harris Ti can and almost identical to one I had on my original 929 Blade
He's now popped it on ebay so please have a look and let me or the seller know if its a decent system.....he's had one tip off already that it may be a Moriwaki system?

That is one strange looking system with a spring joint halfway down the rear down pipes.Kermit wrote:.....he's had one tip off already that it may be a Moriwaki system?
It aint a Moriwaki, definitely a lesser known sort. I'm no exhaust expert but i think Moriwaki only made twin stack systems for the nc's.

Must be a mild steel system because stainless aint magnetic (generally) and shouldnt rust in normal usage it does sometimes look rusty. Russ

Very strange looking system - definitely not a Moriwaki! Looks to be mild steel, but it's hard to tell with the hard life UK bikes get :D Your mate may want to keep the rear manifold if he's not sure what exhaust he'll be replacing it with - but I guess that most new systems like Tyga etc are fulls. I prefer proper Jap stuff - hell, it's getting near vintage now! Ahhh, the thrill of the hunt!Kermit wrote:He's now popped it on ebay so please have a look and let me or the seller know if its a decent system.....he's had one tip off already that it may be a Moriwaki system?

I'm 95% sure that Moriwaki do only make twin stacks (still available new from Japan), but I do recall seeing a single once. I had a picture, but can't seem to find it for the life of me!
