NC29 wheel bearings
Hi all
So could someone please explain how many I would need to buy per wheel, what type is best (does it matter?) and if front and back wheel bearings are different?
Thanks everyone
Kev

Re: NC29 wheel bearings
I prefer oem but others use aftermarket ok. You will need 2 per wheel and they all have the same part number so guess front and back are the same..
91054MN8741 thats the NSK number, used by Honda
I cant link to the David Silver page for some reason but try there or Graeme France racing.

Re: NC29 wheel bearings
Thank you for the info
GF racing has two types listed on the parts list so a little unclear?
Thank you for the part number tho.

Re: NC29 wheel bearings
The actual NC29 wheel bearings are all the same ... the 2nd one listed is for the sprocket carrier.
For the wheels only - you require 4 of these:

Top quality Japanese bearings as used in our Championship Winning NC29s.
Hope that helps

Re: NC29 wheel bearings
Thank you GF for the info...if I'm replacing the wheel bearings is it a good time to replace the sprocket carrier? I've never really heard of this part being replaced.
Thanks again
Kev

Re: NC29 wheel bearings
Just the one bearing in the sprocket carrier ... I would replace it ... seen these wear out / fail many many times.
Cheers
