NC30 Gearbox help required (PLEASE HELP)
hi, my nc30 gear box is a little ill... it like to jump out of gear in 1st when i take it over 7K ish, but is fine in all other gears.
iv found 2 sets of gearbox internals for a reasonable price, but id not know where to start when it comes to getting the old bits out and the new bits in. iv spoken to my local stealer, and they wont touch it.
dose anyone know any where that will do it in the midlands or anyone who will do it or come help me.
or wold it be a waste of time? there are a few wngines on the bay at the moment.
Thanks :)

Have a look in the Haynes mate - if it makes sense then get some time and get stuck in. I can also email you a service manual if you want it - it might give you additonal info to make the decision on it
You don't have to split the cases apparently so you can do it if you are careful.
For the cash and the experience/satisfaction I would be getting into it.

If you can get a decent engine cheap enough then it's easier to do that as you will have to split the cases to fix it, you can do this without touching the top end if you are careful.
You need to take the engine out no matter what you do and you'll either need to do the work yourself[1] or pay for someone to do it plus of course get the bits.
FWIW when our NC35 started to do this I got a far lower mileage (21kKm instead of 55kKm) engine and carbs for 120quid...
