Re: Maximum Bulb Power
I ordered a set of H4 "Night Breaker Plus" bulbs for my NC23 but when they arrived the 3 "tangs" were at the wrong spacings

Are the NC23 lights "specific" to the bike or should they be "standard" H4

The bulbs were listed as being for a CBR 600 87-94 so I thought (obviously wrongly) that they should fit my NC23 of similar vintage

I must confess to not taking the old bulbs out before ordering the Breakers but I didn't think they would be anything different to a "standard" H4

The only information I had to go on was in the Haynes manual which just said H4 60/55

Has anyone else fitted this type of bulb and if so where did you get them

I can make them fit but would really like to know which bulbs I should buy should I need any in the future

Thanks
Em

Re: Maximum Bulb Power
That's because you're sticking H4 bulbs into H4R headlights.
You'll need some H4 adapters, or rig up a redneck solution with a nail

Excellent knowledge, just what I needed to know
I've ordered a pair, at £6.99 I think it's a bargain
I'd no idea that such a simple thing like a headlight bulb upgrade was so complicated
I can't wait to try the new bulbs now
