Im sure you can get a spring some something... there not very strong springs, out of a kids toy, or even an NC30 one might work.steveof wrote:Yes i think that`s best, although there don`t seem to be any avalible, tried ebay nothing on there...the tap has the two parts of diaphram just appears to be missing the spring.
But you still need to stop the fuel tap leaking, perhaps theres a bit of shit caught up in it, try blowing some compressed air through it while turning on and off.

Re: NC24 Carb Bowl Gaskets
Just spoke to the guy at NRP and he tells me that they are as from next week going to be producing the internal seals for the NC24/NC21 fuel tap`s,i took mine apart this afternoon and there is a seal behind the lever that stops fuel comming out of the tap when in the off position,so could be sorted soon...

the outside one.steveof wrote:Ok managed to sort the fuel tap,no more leaks and have put a new diaphram and spring in...but can`t remember what spiggot on the fuel tap the vacume pipe goes on....anyone
the inside one is a vent to allow the diaphram to move.
did you find the spigot on the engine block?
its on the outside of the rear left cylinder (when sitting on the bike) about half way down.. hidden by the frame tube.

I wrote in this thread that the vaccum hose goes to the middle one of the fuel tap.
As long as its working it should be ok.
