I love my moriwaki twin stack exhaust, but....it's sooooooo quiet, i can't even hear it, it's virtually silent, was just wondering if other people with the same exhaust find theirs quiet as well. Bike: RVF400

They are stamped JMCA which would mean they are road legal over in japan, probably why they are so quiet but i cant see any baffles in there so maybe your just going deaf :P

:( But i don't want it to be road legal :(. I originally didn't mind that much cause they put out quite a bit more power (i need to get it dynoed to find out how much for sure) but compared to rvfs, mine defs has more power. lol, no i'm not

, I recorded a fly by just to make sure i wasn't deaf, and you can't hear the bike till i'm right next to the camera, and you only hear the engine not the exhaust at all, (cue rvf with tyga maggot drowning me out). But yea, i'm not looking for ridiculously loud, just somehing loud, not quiet. Oh well, i just gotta deal with it :)

I reckon someone has had those cans apart and put a sleeve or baffle in by the looks of the photo.

i agree, there is definitely something in there thats not originally meant to be there.... i have a TSR half system and my can also has the JMCA stamp, and its loud as hell as there is no DB killer.

I'd be drilling out the rivets to remove the sleeves and investigating further.

Slightly off the topic but how do you find the Michelin Power Pures on the RVF? I presume that you're running a 160/60 rear, is the front 120/60 or 120/70?
