This freak'n site is a bad influence on me. If my lady found out I spent that much on an axle, I'd be
ing it.

By looking at it and doing some quick advanced mathematical calculations in my head, I'd say it's 1440 grams.

Just weighed my RS250 axle and it's only 1364 grams so I'm not sure now.

Re: NC30 HRC rear axle group buy
Can somebody fill me in.
from Mike Norman's G-Force site

The journey somehow led us to a 2000 RS250R Rear Hub assembly. The parts slip right into the NC Swingarms. The RS250R just has it flipped (sprocket and rotor are on opposite sides as the NC). It was a long process to get the measurements, but it turns out everything just slips in and locates just fine. There were a couple of strange gltches that we still have yet to explain, but we worked around them none-the-less. So, now we have a complete RS250R Rear Hub Assembly in place of the NC-35 Assembly for an impressive weight savings of more than 3 lbs (approximately 1.5 kg).

So here is the assembly for $330
What am I missing??
cheers

Re: NC30 HRC rear axle group buy
I think the rear axles are different. I checked the parts fiche, and NC30 is 42300-MR8-000 and NC35 is 43200-KV3-950. KV3 appears to be NSR250R (I assume that's based on the RS250R track bike). The NC30 part is not listed as being superceded by the NC35 one, so I would guess that they are not compatible. Also, looking at the fiche, the rear axle bolt is available as a spare on the NC30, it is not for the NC35. In addition, the sprocket carrier is a different part number, again on the NC35 it appears to be shared with the NSR.
For that matter, it's less than that with DSS....

Re: NC30 HRC rear axle group buy
Well that sounds like a reasonable explanation. Only good if you have an NC35 then.
