I think this is a cracking wheel nut idea!

If anyone is interested, I've got an ISR caliper for an RC30 going spare. I'll try to post a picture later. Essentially, it is the same as the standard ISR mini rear caliper but has mounting lugs more suitable for single sided swinging arms. One trick bit and a one-off from ISR.

DM, the pictured axle is a stock steel axle, I'm pretty sure (it looks like steel).
You really should treat youself to the ISR rear brake, I got one on my racer and it's been worth all the hassle and fabrication time.., it really gives the rebound an easier time.

Sorry should have explained better, i know thats a stock axle but the way its been redesigned to take the nut is the same principle as the RS250 axle so should in theory work ok.

To me, it looks as the wheel nut has the male thread,and the female inner thread is cut into the axle. As opposed to the more conventional RS250 setup you've got there, Tony.

Well, I finally have my lathe going and here is the prototype nut - the hex still needs to be milled on to the nut but its a start...
