G76A No starty

Post by xianmcx »

Hi Guys, new to here and need lots of help!!
Bought a minted G76A back in november for my bird ran great put it in the garage until she passed here test, so in Febuary went to start it and would not start, changed the plugs still no start so bumped it and she kicked in to life great I thought!! then i tried to go for a wee ride but as soon as open throttle she only firing on two pot and loads of smoke coming outta her.

So I thought I aint done nothing to her so why she like this.. so read up on forums and came accross the dreaded o rings. anyway heres what i done to her

Changed all the o rings in carb and cleaned, turned mixture srews out 1.5 turns, new spark plugs, new oil & filter.

Ive checked Im getting a spark, fuel going in, although i took plug out and it wasnt soaking.

So anybody any ideas would be extremly greatful

Thanks

I know it is simple but are your carb vent hose's free of pinches? I've managed to pinch mine before and the bike wouldn't start/run correctly.

Have you checked the pilot jets themselves? They can become clogged as well. The passages they use in the jet holder are very small as well and should be checked.

Yes rgvsp I have checked all the breather hoses and carbs again all clean, now bike is not sparking at all, checked coils and both getting 3 ohms, so im at a lose, as I can't check if carbs fixed until I get spark working
