Balancing carbs with a standard can then swapping for a race

Post by royster81 »

Tomorrow ill be balancing my carbs with gauges. But my neighbour is a paranoid schizophrenic and I don't want my bike idling in my driveway with a race can on incase it upsets him so I was going to swap it for a standard can to keep the noise down but will swapping cans back and forth have an effect on the carb balance ?

Doubt it, your balancing the pressure diff between each carb so realisticly that diff would be the same whatever end can was on I think.

What is it with neighbours they get upset over a bike running but the sound of flymos and strimmers going at 100+decibels is the sound of summer lol..

No much worse.

Hit the limiter in my driveway between the two houses, not once but a handful of times.
