Nc30 master cylinder ratio?
Hi all,
Does anyone know what ratio the front brake master cylinder is for a stock nc30?
I've looked but it doesn't seem to have it on there.
Basically I have a radial blade master cylinder hanging around with a ratio of 11/16 and am trying to figure out if its a good upgrade and what kind of feel I would get through the lever.
I prefer a hard lever to 'man handle' the bike rather than a softer progressive one.

Re: Nc30 master cylinder ratio?
Im a little lost by the term "ratio" the NC30 as stock uses a 14mm M/C i have SP1/CBR calipers which are now on a fireblade 5/8" / 16mm M/C i found the stock 14mm much better than the bigger upgrade

What calipers are you using?Timon wrote:Basically I have a radial blade master cylinder hanging around with a ratio of 11/16 and am trying to figure out if its a good upgrade and what kind of feel I would get through the lever.
I use the 2003-4 600rr 11/16 master cylinder with my sp1 calipers and it's bang on.
Edit: Just read that you probably nc30 calipers, if so I would stick with the standard size. Your radial m/c would be put to better use with the newer nissin calipers...

Yeah youre prob right, think I'll shelve the idea.
Think the blade one will be too big bore
