double bubble?

Post by donnybingo »

As i am quite tall (6.1) sat on a small 400 i do get a lot of wind issues on motorway trips/dual-carriageway, my question is are there any Double-Bubble screens for 88 1WG? seen plenty for 1990-onwards but no one seems to stock anything apart from standard replacment screens??

I'm sure I saw somewhere that the FZS600 Fazer screen fits the 3HE FZR600 - which is the same as some of the 1WG 400's ...........isn't it?????????????? :pray:

Nah Chris;that 3HE screen will only fit a 3EN series.
Donny has a 2TK apparently;that is the virtually flat Genesis screen if he has the original fairing.

Try Skidmarx - if they advertise a screen for your bike hten they'll try to do a DB for it. Ring them up, they're quite a helpfull bunch.

Try this link also;but ask all the right questions re. bolt holes and dimensions.
Personally I have doubts about fit without photos!

Skidmarks link;

Both these appear to be 3HE/3EN Series screens which will not fit......sorry.

I think this is the standard one - http://www.skidmarx.co.uk/product.php?id_product=20294
More by process of elimination, it's not the 3TJ and it's not the exup ... so strt from here and ask for the DB version, I think they make one but the listing isn't so clear.

This might be it;

It is the only Genesis and I think Boris's link is 3EN1.

I'm sure MRA make a 2TK Genesis DB screen. Try BikeHPS, they're main distributors in the UK :peace:
