Fitting preload fork tops to NC23

Has anybody on here fitted nc29 preload fork caps to nc23 forks if so what internals need modifying, any help would be great

Early nc29 tops(without rebound adjuster) go straight on.

You might need to cut down the spacer tube.

Also caps with damping adjusters will work if you cut the damping bit off on the inside.
