why not get a set of chinese panels in the OE scheme, and run the bike around using those for a few years, should anything happen at least you have your OE stuff to hand
That said i bought a couple of sets for mine while there were available for the RVF and glad i did.
I think the nose cones are now gone as is one side of the seat panels, lowers i am not sure about or mids. i think someone here tried for a RR around 6 months ago and was told no for mids by DS

This is what inspired me to get a spare set of minty fresh panels. Those give me a chubbster!Zippy wrote:Ordered these in about March last year and had them delivered about June/July time.

I'll run around with the original panels for a few years but want to have a spare set of jap OEMS on hand. I did get a chinese REPSOL set for my MC22 but it does feel like a pair of trashy hooker knickers on an old tart compared to the jap panels, LOL. And I already swapped out one bad lower RHS panel on the RVF with another used one found locally for $200aud for only a good example at best (had a few scratches, scratched up honda logo ect.) So, for the prices I'm finding locally I might as well get minty fresh panels.CRM wrote:why not get a set of chinese panels in the OE scheme, and run the bike around using those for a few years, should anything happen at least you have your OE stuff to hand
