eBay 'specials' and other junk finds

A place to bang on about subjects close to your heart that affect us all as 400cc riders. general banter is rife, however rudeness and abuse seem to be the norm, If a bit wet round the ears best go play elsewhere. Auto pruning of items 31 days and older

Don't think this one's been posted.....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/honda-rvf-400 ... SS:GB:1123

Amazingly low miles if genuine!

Edit: just looked up the seller's finished items to see about the claim of the previous buyer not contacting. The bike 'sold' for £5100 last time. There's one (RT) up with 7000 miles BIN for £5K... :o Possibly rather OTT to say the least!

hardly classify this as a "junk find" but it was mentioned before and it made £5600 or something.
clearly the winner vanished into thin air / fantasy land.
the joys of ebay.

Sorry, I wasn't completely sure if 'special' was tongue in cheek or not, seeing as I couldn't find a thread for less shady auctions... Perhaps I didn't look back far enough? I didn't think it was worth a thread of its own....

It's just sold for £3600 and it's now been re-listed AGAIN with a £3000 start and reserve not met

Dunno, but I'm trying to find out how wishful his reserve is...

OK, his reserve is £300
