Re: NC30 rear disc removing question.

Re: NC30 rear disc removing question.
You need to shock the piston first by rotating it, if its stuck it isnt going to budge, hence why i said shock/rotate it re bleed and watch it come out.

Re: NC30 rear disc removing question.
Sorry guy's but I can't see how you are going to rotate it if brake pressure won't move it.
Personally, I'd reassemble with the old seals after cleaning the seal recess, then bleed & try again with hydraulic pressure.

Re: NC30 rear disc removing question.
like i said.. it doesnt work, ive tried it plenty of times, the brake pedal makes clicking noises and it doesnt "push" anymore. i dont know how to explain it any clearer... it just doesnt work

It should work unless your m/c is fukced or the system has air in it. It is THE most effective way of removing the pistons. Funny that as thats how the brakes work!xivlia wrote:like i said.. it doesnt work, ive tried it plenty of times, the brake pedal makes clicking noises and it doesnt "push" anymore. i dont know how to explain it any clearer... it just doesnt work

Re: NC30 rear disc removing question.
Why not try pushing the piston in further to break the "seal"?
If the seals have glued themselves to the piston, pushing the piston in is a good as rotating or pushing it out. You can use a G clamp or a vice and a sleeve.
Then, bleed the brake and use the pedal to pump it out.
