Re: NC30 Overflow
I'm just returning to this thread, is there any advantage/disadvantage to this mod or is it purely cosmetic, I'm not bothered about losing 1kg unless it's off my belly lol
Does it make the tail plastics easier to fit?
Reason I ask is they seem to need an uncomfortable ammount of flex to get over the res bottle.

Re: NC30 Overflow
Mainly cosmetic, weight saving, makes tail a lot easier to fit without worrying about cracking the plastic.

Mine's already crackedalexwitham wrote: makes tail a lot easier to fit without worrying about cracking the plastic.

It seems much more uncomfortable to fit the rear to this than my last '30 for some reason.
I'll have a look at doing this

Re: NC30 Overflow
What capacity bottle do I want to be looking for, we obviously want enough capacity for expansion from cold to boiling point + a bit of coolant when in when cold & a bit for "safety". I'm guessing 1/2 ltr min?
Do you guy's have an overflow or just a small vent hole?
Cheers, Pip

Re: NC30 Overflow
hi im looking for a little advice on the hrc "bottle"... does this actually replace the need for the water tank on the subframe? if so what sort of hose mods need to be done i have been looking to do it for a while... but never been 100% sure on what is fully needed!
