I took my NC35 through Kanchanaburi province west of Bangkok last week up to the Burmese border at Three Pagodas Pass. Here's a shot of her with the three pagodas in the background. There's some really fun sections in the roads 'round here.

I worked up at Lankrabui for a while, I can't imagine wanting to ride a decent bike on those roads, with those drivers too! hat off to you if the roads are the same in Kanchanaburi!

Most of the provincial roads in Thailand are actually better than those back home in New South Wales but you're right about the drivers, they're abysmal. In their wisdom the govt here gave a cash-back incentive to 1st time car buyers which effectively just put 700,000 new drivers on the road. OMFG.
