jacking the back end up does make a bike handle better apparently,i tried putting a cbr600rr shock into my nc24 and i couldnt make it fit, even with a fair bit of grinding!

renewing the oil in your old one would be a safe bet and getting a stiffer spring from demon tweeks

Shorten the dog bone link, just check everything clears, that hole in the swingarm isn't huge.

You could try one of these http://www.projection-components.co.uk/ ... s-17-p.asp
There made to fit a FZR but kayla will probably modify it to fit the NC for you. What length is the R6 shock?

Dont know, i think you'd run into clearence problems shortening the dog bone link enough to get the right height. You could get a spare one and experiment but doesnt changing the length of the link effect the spring rate etc?

Thinking about what i just said and it doesnt really matter about the spring rate etc cos the R6 spring is going to be way too soft anyway.

I put an R6 shock on my KR1 and it was too soft - so I got it shortened, re-valved and re-sprung
