UK clocks on a jap bikes?
Can anyone advise?
Wondering if I could put UK clocks (Speed in MPH and Distance in Miles) on a Jap bike?
Also, the clocks i'd buy are at a higher mileage that the bike. Is it standard procedure rolling the clocks forward until they hit 0 and then getting it to the right mileage?
Thanks in advance!

Yeah they'll go on no problems.
As far as odometer is concerned, if you have the patience to wind the clock forward then go for it. I wouldn't say this is standard, most peeps just make a note of when it was changed and the mileage in both sets of clocks.

Re: UK clocks on a jap bikes?
I think I have yes.
I tried to post earlier but my internet died.
400 clocks in UK trim usually fetch quite a price.
Anyhow.
The will fit fine, but if you don't have an MMAX / HRC SP Unit / other speed restrictor on them then your bike will cut out above 5500rpm as the JDM clocks contain a small circuit board that acts as a speed limiter.
Your options if you dont already have a box would be
1. take the cirtcuit board out of the old clocks, keep it connected and wrap it in a waterproof bag (this is the shit option)
2. follow the guide in the documents thread and solder a 5p restistor between two wires on the ignition box.
