Those look nice and I don't think the price is bad at all. Cheaper than my 57mm omega's

I think that's a bargain, there's not many quality alternatives out there.

I'd love to be able to justify a set, it's just explaining it to the'Boss' indoors when/ if she found out!!!

Paul

I am confused...what did I do to incur your wrath?

It was not a random post to an e-bay link. I only put the link on there, (to an already finished auction as I had already bought them) as it contained all the specs of the pistons on there to save trying to relay the information to anyone else who might be considering them.

Having spent a lot of time trying to find some oversize pistons, which included reading all the past threads on the topic, including a failed group buy from Omega themselves, there seemed to be a lot of people who, like me, wanted an +1mm oversize piston option. This seemed to be particularly prevalent in the racing community as they are, apprently, only allowed up to a +1mm overbore, and there simply isn't anything else out there.

My whole motivation for posting the contact details of the guy I got them from was nothing more than trying to share the information with the wider 400GB comunity that there was a limited number of high spec +1mm pistons available.

What did I do wrong :(

You are a naughty boy...!

Go stand in the corner and have a word....come back when you have put the effort in to source some pukka +1 pistons for us and be sure to do a build thread.

Paul, I can't see why the thread was deleted either :?: If it was inappropriate for the for sale section, couldn't it have just been moved? The information within was invaluable.
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

i saw a thread without any for sale / wanted in the title so away it went.

If it was for an item that someone here was selling (and labeled correctly) then why not add it to this thread - like you know where it was being discussed in the first place. Or would that be too simple ?

Guys you have all been here long enough to know the script. Steve i don't recall seeing your posts on the topic, so your information wasn't that invaluable was it? if the information was so invaluable then put it somewhere where its not going to be purged after a few weeks anyway yes.

Paul

Ok my bad, I didn't use "for Sale" in the Title, I think I had used "Available" instead, but understand you were possibly just skim reading titles as you were policing the forum, which is fair enough.

I had put the details in the "For sale section" rather than as another post on this thread as the "For sale section"is not bike/model specific and the pistons in question (I am led to belive) will fit the CBR as well as the NC30, plus there were also equally trick ZXR pistons available. I was mearly thinking that the CBR/ZXR owners were much more likely to chek there than look in the V4 section.

Apologies if I broke the rules - nothing intentional. As you suggest I will post the details again here so at least the information is out there.
