fuel consuption NC30
Hey guys
i have only had my bike for a short while & was wondering wat the fuel consumption should be for it i'm currently getting 4.8 litres per 100 km or 20 km per litre. Don't know what i should be getting, u can put what ur getting in miles per gallon & i can figure it out from there, think mine is like 60 or 70 MPG??? not too sure. any replies will be much appreciated.

Re: fuel consuption NC30
Usually 100 miles before reserve is the norm (or 160km) however, on the track I've hit reserve after 70 miles.
MPG depends on a few other things too, like a clean air filter, clean carbs, properly jetted carbs etc.

standard exhaust, air filter and carbs and 60K KMS on the clock, i get to 178KMS before hitting reserve, and thats giving it generous handfuls!!

I get roughly 190kms to reserve...and I don't usually redline it. I ride like a girl.

Well not like the girl I normally ride with, she gets 160Km to reserve...jo wrote:I get roughly 190kms to reserve...and I don't usually redline it. I ride like a girl.
...but she says that's because she has to keep it pinned in 1st, 2nd and 3rd to keep up with me. :D

Re: fuel consuption NC30
Working on the principal that Full -> Reserve is 16 litres?
160km (100miles) out of 16 litres is 28.10mpg
178km (110miles) out of 16 litres is 31.25mpg
200km (120miles) out of 16 litres is 34.10mpg
Original Poster... 20km/l is 56mpg
68mpg? That would mean you could do 240 miles (386km) from Full -> Reserve?

Re: fuel consuption NC30
No, I thought the entire tank is only 15 litres with a 2l reserve so 13litres to reserve which I work out to be 35mpg (for 160km to reserve).
