nc30 running rough
hey guys my nc30 just started to run rough went to work it was fine on the way back there was a flat spot at around 7k the would struggle to rev to the redline. I did run it on reserve about a week ago but it was fine untill yesterday. had a look at the air filter today and it seemed fine. Is it worth taking the carbs apart? any help would be appriciated
Re: nc30 running rough
Sounds like you could have a failed spark plug - Start the bike from cold and let it warm up for about 2 mins then feel (carefully) each of the four exhuasts in turn. If one is colder than the others its a plug.
Good luck
Phil

To help with that, spray water over the exhaust headers, if one of them doesnt steam up and evaporate the water then you a non firing cylinder
