My calliper upgrade. From OEM to SP2.
Ok here is all the info in one place that i have got tougher for my calliper upgrade.
Ok first thing you will need to do is choose which callipers you want to fit to your bike, here are a list of a few that are known to fit.
black - cbr600FX
silver - anniversary blade - 99 IIRC but not sure.
gold - cbr6rr and SP1/2
Thanks for the info CMSMJ1.
I went for the SP2 callipers because i like gold.

It is also best to upgrade your master cylinder as well, i went for the SP2 as it matched the callipers.
The master cylinder fits on to the clip ons with no mods at all but to fit the callipers you will need a few extra bits.

The main one is the calliper mounting bracket these are avalible from Rick oliver and are very inexpensive.
Here is a pic of them fitted. As i had the wheel off i thought i might as well paint the discs.

So the only other parts that you need to complete this mod are a set of lines for the calipers that you decided to use. As i went for the SP2 calipers the NC30 braided lines that i have dont fit, so i need to replace them.
I have not quite finished it all off yet as i am waiting on the lines and i am also changing the levers so i will post some more info when i get some more time.

Yes all sorted. I have ordered a CBR900RR clutch and a SP2 brake. So as soon as they arrive i will post some more pics showing them fitted.
