as you guys all know, there is some sort of lip holding the seal in place. the gasket was slightly altered so it could fit in, he then used some sort of high grade heat resistant gasket sealant around it... i opened up the engine cover to check on it. seems like its holding up pretty well but only time will tell...


apparently alot of nc35's in singapore have done this quick fix for 80SGD as it costs almost 500 to 1000 SGD just to open up the engine here... so i guess i'll take this gamble first...
