rubber pipe sizes
Hello all, does any know the pipe diameter sizes for the tank breather and the pipe that goes from the top rad to the overflow bottle.

I'm not 100% familair with the NC30, but assuming you mean the pipe that comes out the top of the tank and splits into two bits via a t-piece, the fiche lists the bottom two drain pipes that come off the t-piece as being 5.3mm, and all the butterfly clips are the same size so it stands to reason that all three pipes will be the same size too.
Top rad pipe is listed as as 5x870mm.
I'm not sure if it's common practice to list the inside or outside diameter though...

Those sizes off the fiche are internal diameters

Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

Thanks! I thought it probably was, but looking at a ruler and wondering if 5mm looks about the same as the pipe doesn't really work very well when the ruler and bike are 90 miles apart... lol I could do with replacing my expansion tank pipes, they're starting to look like they're not so very far away from giving up the ghost!

Re: rubber pipe sizes
thanks for replies, i ended up ordering 5mm ID of ebay for £2.96 a metre which i dont think was too bad , if its a little tight ill do the old trick of sticking the end into hot water to soften it up,

Looks like you spotted the same auction I did. I looked at Halfrauds and they want £15 for two metres of silicone hose from Ripspeed!!
