It's raining, and it looks like it wont stop until May. I've a big box of original honda fairings for my NC30 in tatty order.
Now, to keep me occupied, should I start to repair, and get them to the stage to apply primer, or is it more cost effective to get someone who knows what there doing to repair them before they spray them.
I haven't any real panel repair before, so advice would be good, what to buy, what to do etc.
Cheers.
Panel repair and painting.

Re: Panel repair and painting.
Plastic welding kits are cheap enough on ebay if you have a lot to do it could be a good investment.
Go to some local breakers and see if you can get some fucked fairing to practice on and your away.

Get yourself a soldering iron and some zip ties, use the ties as welding rods melt them into the crack on the inside of the panel.
