Because they lie and only bracket that fit - this is mudgard brackets. All other thing you have to be done by you own with own measurements :D :scared:

Thats why the kit is so cheap they lie about what is in the kit, when a bit arrives broken they do nothing about it, they claim there is no modification needed (what a load of B********s). They have a UK website when they are based in thailand (mmmmmm trying to make them selves look legit) sends big alarm bells to me

Yes, you're right. But it's 2,5 times cheaper as for me. All mounts possible to do by your own.

If thats what you want but I hate companys that lie there asses off and sell crap products that dont come with what they say they do and dont replace damaged parts. If they state it comes with all mountings like they do then you should not be making your own no matter how much you pay for the kit. All I can say is that they could do a western better than clint eastwood

If the kit was bought through ebay and parts were missing, things were damaged etc. Could you not claim your money back via paypal if the customer service was unsatisfactory?

These guys don't play like that! Sure, Paypal usually side with the buyer, but the only communication you get from these guys is threats: "sue you", "nothing wrong with them", etc.

The bottom line is that these fairings are cheap, the quality is acceptable (for the price) and if you do buy them, you'd better be handy enough to make them fit.

Personally, I've always just bought race fairings and modded them to how I want the bike to look. Takes time, but it's personalised to your tastes and very satisfying and above all, cheap.

Agree with superlite. I think for the same price and same efforts if I had bough cbr600rr fairing and fit. But the price for me was a argument, I like TYGA, but not ready to pay half price of the bike just for fairing.

With regards to the paypal getting your money back I had a customer who bought the kit, when it arrived parts where broken (screen and pannels) front fender missing no brackets to fit the kit. He emailed to complain and let them know what was up, at first they where like we will send you replacements two weeks later no sign of the parts so he emailed again to get a reply of we have shipped the parts they are on the way, two more weeks later still no parts and again more emails. This went on until the time had run out to be able to make a claim on paypal. He then never got any replies to the emails he sent.

He also told me that the quality of the fibre glass was the worst he has ever seen and when he tried to fit what he had found it to be way off and in need of major modification.

Yeah, the quality of the fibreglass isn't great. It's pretty thin with lots of filler (a bit like my efforts!). But with the amount they move, I dare say their molds would have seen better days.

Don't think we've forgotten what Tyga's quality used to be ;)

I guess the difference is these guys are probably not investing too heavily in product improvement while people are happy to pay for it! Globalisation at motorcycle fairing level!

Ive got to say that even when I started working with TYGA over 2 years ago their fibre glass was 10 times better than K-Cons is now, and it is way better now than 2 years ago. I have checked out loads of fibre glass and TYGAs now is one of the best around without a doubt. I know certain people bang on about silhouette bodywork being the best but to be honest it is twice the price of TYGA stuff but defo not twice as good. Plus these people dont put there money where there mouth is and buy the stuff as I have had it in stock for ages and only ever sold a cpl of bits where as TYGA stuff has sold loads.
