Re: Should I sell her or keep her
I just keep buying bikes, I know its not as easy for everyone & storage is always a problem but my No1 30 will become an ornament & put in a box, or put on the wall, before its every pried from my dying hands & sold!
I'll be buying a zxr750, zx7r or yzf750r next, so that'll make 7 in my personal collection & back to 25 bikes total!
The others can come & go but the 30 will always stay!

Re: Should I sell her or keep her
Lol seen the bro earlier and been put to rights about why I should keep the V4 and I agree with him and most of you to be honest and I don't really want to part with it to be fair.CRM wrote:i know only too well that the lure of a newer more modern bike is all too appealing, however it will be short lived i bet knowing you.
look how many have gone down that route to only come back to a 400, not everyone granted, but most esp ones with a bit of V4 in their blood and i bet you have RWB blood lol
besides does your brother know you are talking daft ? i am sure he would put you straight.
Been out on it today and like always it pulls a crowd at our normal burger and coffee stop

I think I may need to look into another way of funding a second bike so the 30 can stay, looks like the house refurb will have to go on hold for a bit lol and I hope the wife see's my way of thinking

yeah - see told you so.
go test ride a few bikes, they are all fast and light but once the novelty has worn off getting back on the 400 is like an old friend.

Re: Should I sell her or keep her
One thing is for sure I won't be buying another 600rr, I'd like to try a underseat model zx6r or maybe a 848 but that might be wishful thinking at the moment.
The only other thing that catches my eye is a Triumph 675, they say there really good.

Re: Should I sell her or keep her
its a bike, nice yes but its not the only one. just because someone else has done the new bike thing and gone back, doesnt mean everyone is the same. say you were to sell it, buy a 675 and love it, sorted............even if you hated it, christ, buy another nc and put it down to experience.
in fact the worst that could happen is you lose about 3.5k on a new 675 when you decide its not for you!!

Ftiw go try a 675 there addictive loads of character sound lovely feel lighter and are everything there cracked up to be but are not unique in the way you've got your nc sorted out now lovely looking bike with some well sorted mods , whereas you can throw loads of cash on a 675 and that's all it will ever be .

^^ Agreed. No doubt about it, the 675 is an awesome bike. But it won't gather a crowd like your NC.

True, but it'll never be as iconic as the NC.speedy231278 wrote:To be fair, if you spent a fortune on trick bits like the tricked up NC it might....Hadies wrote:^^ Agreed. No doubt about it, the 675 is an awesome bike. But it won't gather a crowd like your NC.

Your NC30 will be the bike you regret selling 2 years from now.
