NC35 + Gopro Hero HD + Harrys laptimer + Dashware

Not sure if this is the right section to post in, but I'm sure the moderators will move it if necessary.

Last month I went to the Gotland Ring circuit here in Sweden. I brought a GoPro and an iPhone with Harry laptimer with me. This is the result. It's pretty cheap, and I think the result is pretty trick. Dashware is the software used to render the overlay and sync the GPS data with the film. Please note that I'm a slow driver, the fast guys is about 30s faster per lap than me....

That's cool 8-) Is it difficult to set up and make a video like that?

Not really. You mount the phone in the compartment and run the laptimer app. When you're home, you export the data from the phone (it's got a export format prepared for dashware). Then you start dashware and sync the video and gps data visually. Choose format and export. Tada!

That's fantastic, now let's see it paired up to some classic Swedish roads.

I'll try to make a movie where I drive the widely known road "Slingerbulten", which is just a couple of minutes from my home. I'll be back...

Well, I didn't get the damn laptimer software to work quite as I would like, so here's just a film of me driving Doris on "Slingerbulten", a very popular swedish road for motorcyclists.
