Agreed. Bodywork is the big problem though. Cost of replacement panels that would then need a spray plus all the other bits that need doing to it charging system, speedo, service parts, etc would see you the best part of £1000, or at least thats what I would budget for it. Add that to the buy it now and it does still look as if it would come in under market value. Or dump the plastic and take it on track, bargain.jim157 wrote:^^^

Writing that gives me ideas. But I have no space in the garage at the moment. Shame as I do intend to have an RVF one day.

then by the time it's done it'll just before xmas and you'd pick up a nice tidy one for about the same and not have scout around for bits and spend the time on it.. . . .

Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.
