Re: Another 'spare' bike
Bought a Tyga RCV front fender a while ago for my other bike. Having no use for it now I asked Gavin at Jap4 if it could be swapped it for a carbon nc30 one, and he kindly said yes if a bought something. So I ordered up a new clear screen (something I don't have) for this bike and a new can for my other project.
Also been collecting graphics and stickers for ages, should be able to decent TT scheme from this lot.

And then I found more!
Also ordered a new number plate as the chassis only came with the logbook.

Also checked all the charging system is working correctly, no open or short circuits. Checked the coils are OK to use and that the wires on the loom for the regrec have good continuity.
All cleaned and fitted.

Re: Another 'spare' bike
Bored of waiting for parts again so decided to carry on with the race fairing.
Heres a catch up of what has been done already.
The start

Light blue

Dark blue

Red

White

Front fairing done

Then there was a loooong gap of me doing other things, so long in fact the tape had welded itself the seat unit. Marked the lines, taped them to then clean all the glue off.
Here it is all cleaned up

Finished the red on the lowers

And got the white done on the seat unit

What are you using to spray those?
Just rattle cans? Or a proper compressor jobby?

Just rattle cans, purely for ease of use.
I am no painter and they are far from perfect but will be more than good enough for the track. Drunkn Munky said he would laquer them once I'm done to give it all a deep shine.

Looks pretty good to me on the pictures, especially for rattle cans, I'm useless with them.

Cheers.
Got an early birthday present from the parents in the form of some SES rearsets, nice.

Master cylinder I prepared earlier, nice.

Fitted

Pulled a decent resevoir and clamps from spares and fitted.

Really want to get the engine finished off and in the bike now

Re: Another 'spare' bike
The swapped carbon fender arrived.

And fitted. Which means the red one can go back to stay with the rest of the OEM bodywork set.

And the new screen. A la double bubble modified Bob Heath IOM TT style.

That's looking really good, loving the rc30 paint scheme.
