Lovely bike
Its actually a 89 type 1 model (the best) but for some reason DVLA stuck it on a H plate for you and not a F or even a G like most are in that scheme if an import.

wow okay i didn't know it was a type 1 model nice
. well going back to doing anything to it I would like to keep it fairly original saying that i would love to put a translogic dash on it but that are a bit pricey. i will for sure change the sprocket for some more acceleration and a shorter first. I probably will get a new can for it as im unsure if i want to keep my micron pipe on it. if you guys have advice on a nice pipe please let me know.

lose the anodised and stick on tat, you wont be able to do alot with the can, they are not bolt on and the old can will have been chopped off.
if you start fitting dash boards or other bits of dubious nature prepare for the value and desirability to plummet like a stone.

For sure mate id like to keep it the way Mr Honda designed it, apart from the sprocket and the can I want to keep it like that. I think if you buy a bike like this keep it standard.

Looks like you have standard pipes but with the micron sleeved on, a nice half system would go lovely on that. The anodised stuff should be left back in the 90's
and whatever you do dont paint over those panels, worth a fortune in those colours if they are OEM.

Okay how about sprocket change for acceleration what's you guys opinion change front,back or both also iv been looking at end cans have you guys seen or heard of mtcexhuasts.

Alot of people go -1 tooth on the front not sure how much acceleration this gives as ive never done it myself. That MTC can looks terrible IMO, i have a beowulf can on mine atm not too showy offy which is why i like it, sounds very nice too.
If it was me id either save up and buy a nice standard uncut exhaust to put on yours, or get a classic jap system (ethos, yamamoto, etc) bit pointless buying another can seeing as you have allready got one.

Yeah easiest to just fit a front sprocket with 1 less tooth as you can keep the same chain. If you fit a larger rear sprocket instead you might need a longer chain.VFRkieran wrote:Alot of people go -1 tooth on the front not sure how much acceleration this gives as ive never done it myself.
It makes a considerable improvement to acceleration and gives the clutch an easier time around town.
