GK71e GSX400X Front brakes
Hi guys, quick question on the front brakes. Mine are feeling very limited in their performance. I have tried to sets of calipers and they both feel very "wooden". Have bled the system a few times and cant seem to get a very strong pressure build up either. Had a shop try as well. Are these brakes just not very good ? Is there a replacement from another model that will fit without having to have plates made ?
calipers are Suzuki deca opposed piston (dop) 4 piston ones, which are fairly generic around the late 80's - i think.
Cheers
Pete

Re: GK71e GSX400X Front brakes
They are not the best brakes.
Best you can do is quality lines and pads.
Most people swap over to Bandit4 wheels and forks (twin disc) as per racer in link.
