Wouldnt start, now does but leaking hot fluid ...help
Friday night i rode home from work , everything fine bike ran and felt normal, parked it up for the weekend, come sunday night the bike wouldnt start took around 10 mins with a lil choke and keep pausing , wasnt battery related though but eventually it started so i left it runnin
All of a sudden i got a weird smell like clutch , so i turned the bike off to investigate , couldnt see anything suspicious so i took the bike out for a ride , the gears arnt smooth and feel very stiff every now and then, and the bike seems to hesitate a bit
After my quick 5 min ride round the block i park up and theres a yellow/clear hot liquid now dripping out ?
Any ideas as now bike feels horrible to ride, starts ok now though

Get some pictures up.
What does it smell of?
Could be coolant (some are an orange/yellow colour)

It don't matter if i'm fixin' it or ridin' it.

had my friend over to help me investigate , we have found out that my temp sensor from the thermo is faulty , so when i rode my bike this morning it never kicked the fans in as atm im running a manual switch , luckily it only started leaking as i was then getting home so hopefully no headgasket damage , im off to rickO tomoorow to get a new temp sensor then next month sort the cooling system out properly
just a quick question when the bikes cooled down should the thermostat be....
open (and let fluid through) or closed (and not leak) ?

They open as they heat up to let the coolant circulate once the bike is up to temp.

You sound confused.
There are 3 items in the cooling system, don't mix them up.
There is the temperature sensor, this is by the thermostat housing and controls the temperature dial only, it does NOTHING for the fan, from your post it sounds like you expect this to swtich the fans on? If you remove the connector wire and earth it it will make your temperature gauage go to maximum but not do anything to the fans.
There is a themoswitch for the fan located in the bottom rad, this works independantly of the temperature probe and controls the fan only. Earthing the wrire that goes to this sensor will turn the fan on.
Easiest way to test the fan switch is with multimeter and some boiling water.

I wrote that post in a hurry
What i meant was
Temp sensor was faulty , so wasnt showin the bike overheating , so i didnt turn the fans on manually
