nc23 running problems
hi, have a problem with the NC23 when pulling of and at low revs the bike runs very poor, give it some revs and its fine, have had the carbs cleaned and its been on a rolling road but there's definetely something not quite right, any ideas?

Define runs very poor?
Check the carb set up - pilot jets / air screws etc are set to factory and go from there.
Geez, one bike runs well down low and not up top, and one that runs up top and not down low. What are you doing in that garage of yours eh?!
If all else fails I grab my big mallet and shout menacingly at the bike until it complies with my wishes. :D

Re: nc23 running problems
lol i know does seem a bit dodgy but both old bikes and the NC29 had been sat for 3 years! basically when pulling away you need to give it more revs almost like a race start, and low down is not smooth at all, its been on a dyno and they found nothing wrong but there is definately something not right.
Haven't replaced the spark plugs they look ok, but the iridium ones seem alot better what do you think?

Re: nc23 running problems
have you checked the gearing? it might be on stupid sized sprockets.
Too many bikes, so little time!
