30-35 heads. Whats the difference?
Is there any difference between the heads on the 30 and the 35?
Not interested in cams just the inlet and exhaust ports really and valves.
Cheers

I heard that the inlet ports are narrower by 1mm not sure if its true. Cams are different too (duration), but do fit the NC30.

Valve seats are different (19mm/20mm) and the intake size is narrower to impove air velocity.CMSMJ1 wrote:found the pic.
What are your intentions?
The changes were done to make it a smoother road goign bike.

I'd be interested to hear from Mike N why he chooses to use rvf heads.
I imagine with narrower ports the rvf heads leave more material to shape them to his specs?

Re: 30-35 heads. Whats the difference?
Thanks guys,
Thanks for that pic Mark, i knew i had seen it somewhere
I have some RVF heads fitted that have been polished and possibly worked a little, and wanted to try some standard heads for a comparison on power. It's for my race bike, so not to worried about fuel comsumption or slow running.
I have a set of 30 heads that i may send away to get sorted if the 35 ones are to hard to come bye.
