Finished - 11 weeks from scrap to mot

Post by andy1472 » Sun Jun 24, 2012 1:33 pm

Other than a tinted screen needed I think it's pretty much done. Looking for a fireblade now for my next project.

Looks good, only thing i will say - and im being anal - rear disc centre could do with a lick of paint.
Otherwise a fine example

I'm not normally a fan of newer paint schemes on older bikes but that looks very nice.

Yeah I know about the rear disk. I specifically left it due to the fact it's .10mm under service minimum so I have another on order (to match the front) ready to fit when it arrives.

Thank you for all your comments.

I don't like the angular seat fairings so the paint scheme specifically tricks the eye at a glace into thinking the black part is the new edge of the plastic giving it more nicer lines.

I was quite proud seeing people taking pics of her at bassetts pole last week.

So that's an NC21? Looks really good. People who restore bikes do a great service to mankind.

I just saw a 48 Indian Chief fully restored and it brought a lot of joy to my day.
