Just wondered if anyone else was going to the
Central England Bike Show on the 30th June/1st July
or
Billing Bike Fest on the 20th 21st 22nd July

I wouldn't go to Billing if you paid me. The management are total rip off merchants :twisted:
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

for a tenner to get in i thought it was ok last year... and some cheap gear being sold by the traders..
how was you ripped off? its just a campsite??

Camping fees, food cost, etc. I spent an overnight there with the Transhit Owners club the other year. I was there less than 24 hours and it cost me almost £70!

£40 to get in
£15 for hook up
£12 for two portions of fish and chips

that does sound mighty steep... apart from the fish and chips.. you pay a fiver at most chippies nowadays for a piece of pollock an chips!!

we camped there a couple of times to try a new tent (without hook up) and i never remember it being that expensive!! im sure we paid a tenner a night!!

Been to a few car shows, never camped, always a good day out......food is expensive but your a 'captive audience'........
