Hi guys,
I recently got my first ever RVF400 and I noticed that the side panels, radiator cover are all one piece :/ i.e. I cannot take off one side panel to work on the bike, I have to unbolt both sides then take it out from under the bike as one entire piece, and I cannot do it with a normal side stand as I have to have enough clearance to remove the entire lower piece.
My cousin's RVF is not like this, he has side panels that he can remove, are RVF's supposed to have sidepanels or is it really supposed to be one big piece?
thanks!

Mornin'
Sounds like you have aftermarket panels mate, your cousin's panels are the way OEM are (left & right lowers + upper infils left & right).
Cheers

^^^
True, OEM fairing comprises of five pieces whereas quite a few aftermarket fairings do away with the separate mid sections:-

Ahhh, those are exactly the ones on my bike, quite an inconvenience to be honest. Oh well.
