A Maggot will replace a standard slip-on setup on a 29 without any mods but it will be in the axis of the bike and higher, not poking out the side. To mount it low you would need a custom link pipe and lots of dyno time and then it wouldn't be guaranteed to run well (although it may well). I'd say ground clearance wouldn't be an issue on the road but for track time you will have issues unless you stick to the std link pipe from the collector to the can

if it had wheelied off the throttle then i think i would have been more impressed with it...
