Speedo not working.
Hi there.
The speedo on my bike has stopped working. I've read that it could be the drive unit by the sprocket rather than the cable. How do you the cable to see if its faulty or not?
Thanks in advance.
Phil.

Speedo not working.
Yea there is a nylon bush that attaches to the speedo drive at the sprocket end. It's pretty common for them to round off.
Disconnect the cable from the non sprocket end and I attached to and electric drill and pulled the trigger

Re: Speedo not working.
or just disconect the speedo cable both ends you should be able to turn the inner with your fingers easily , remove the speedo drive from the sproket cover and check the white drive bush that attaches to the sproket nut is not fooked
