Mph speedo onto an import bike
Hi i have just got hold of a set of mph clocks if i fit them will they show the correct speed or do i need the pick up aswell?any info would be great

no fit and forget mate they run of a cable from the sprocket housing, the ratios arent different between uk and jap spec as the bike still goes the same speed as does the cable,
however if you fit a 14T front sprocket youll find an inacuracy in speedo reading

As rick as said, just fit them.
You'll need to fit a resistor / deresriction box to the loom where the JDM clocks fitted if you don't already have as the UK clocks have no speed restrictor board in them.
And as Rick also mentioned, as long as your gearing and wheels are standard then it'll be fine.

Thanks chaps the bike has already got a box on it and i think the gearing is standard, happy days
